Motorcycle Oil Question

Ok so my roommate has a ninja 650R it's an Inline 2 just like the ninja 250 engine.

now here's my question

he was going to change the oil and he bought Vtwin 4cycle fully synthetic Mobil 1 oil.

will that be ok?

i'v always used the normal inline 4 oil on all our bikes and I didnt think about telling him not to get Vtwin oil but on a side note.. WTF is the difference?

I have no clue

I think it will work anyone know for sure?

afaik the vtwin oil has an additive package that is much more oriented toward shigher operating temps found in v twins. other than that i dunno.

not pertinent input other than I'd check out the manufacturer's specs on the bike and/or the oil's website to see if you can find any info

that oil is perfectly fine. overpriced, but it works great. he won't have a problem running it in his bike.
