no, you NEED to come to the Hills with us in Oct.

You should have come that Sunday last month when we went out around Livingston and east... that was a GREAT ride!!! Ask XRCajun and his brother and mic... they had fun... there was more than one comment about "do you guys ever use the brakes?"

I have the small 4 x 8, and access to a 6 x 10 that is a little heavy, but a standard truck can pull it no prob.

I'll need to get another chock for the 4x8 if you are using it so let me know... the 5 I own are going on the big trailer.

There is a slim chance I can fit 6 on it, but I won't know till next month.

I'm more and more slowing it down due to the increasing number of cops. We got pulled over last Sunday with 19 bikes by a motorcycle cop who had the day off. He ticked the leader with 78. Just pick up the pace in the corners IF YOU KNOW THEM!
Don't try to stay with riders in the Forrest if you've never been there and they're faster. That's a recipe for disaster.

I was thinking about putting up a ride at speed limit for riders who've never been there and show them some good roads. Knee draggin is for the track though .

Amen! I hate getting stuck behind people in the corners and then to have them not let you pass because they scream through the straights.

I'd like to go on more of a cruise through the forest to relax and enjoy the ride.

i feel so wrong. i live like 3 minutes from the intersection of 149 and 105 and have never made the forest ride. i have driven it a few times semi aggressively a few years ago when i had the miata, but never since i got my bike. there are a few scary spots if i remember right, lol, but back then i was a little tail happy with the miata.
but yeah. i need to go on a forest ride. i might not be taking paternity leave, so if this is a saturday event, i'm probably going to be SOL

the forest gnomes have a cruiser group each time we do a public ride... its well paced and we hadn't had any crashes in that group, we have had three go off then go back on within the 4 months or so this group has been on it. Everything from riders w years of experience, to harleys, ducs and brand newbies... so its a group that's been through its paces.

If someone wants to start a newbie forest ride post I'd help so long as Im not working.

Well I wouldn't mind leading one but would definitely want one or two riders with Forrest experience on that ride. Also the group should not be bigger than 7.

Im here now....

On the 13th of september I will likely be at GSS supporting some of the forest gnomes on the track...

Other then that, its all about work scheduling. I pull seniority strings to get off when I wanna ride Saturdays but if we become short of people I need to fill in when available. So I'll know the week of; If you guys want to post a ride, you don't have to be the one leading it... I'd hate to post a ride then last minute/week have to back away. But I'll make your ride a priority as much as I can(work being the only drawback.)
