The more it costs, the more comfortable it usually is.

I bought the TZ-R. Although its not as well ventelated as some of the higher-end but same-priced HJC helmets, it is a world more comfortable.

Go to any Cycle Gear store, you can try on any helmet they have.

I need something that breathes...the helmet I have now costs way too much for the quality of it and gets too hot.

the shoei is much lighter than the scorpion... its all about how much $ you are willing to spend...

scopion is not a really expensive helmet. IMO the best bang for your buck. Not real heavy, and have a few "pretty" womens helmets.

but i love my shoei its GREAT, would not trade her for the world.

Yeap wouldn't trade it for anything either.

Keep in mind everyone is different and most brands fit differently. I would try on as many as you can and see what feels the best.

If you go visit with Patrick, he can fit you for your head; not all helmets fit heads differently and he can recommend some that will work for your shape

My X-11 fits me a bit better than my RX-7 Corsair, but the RX-7 vents SOOO much better, and with this hot weather. . .
