The dvd decripter program I had before the rebuild did both.
It would rip and store to a temp file then ask for you to input a blank DVD then it would burn to your Blank DVD.

The one you just sent me will rip and store to file but, when I try to change mode to write, it will not pull up the ripped files as a valid file to burn? :dontknow:

i use a program called DVD Shrink to condense the DVD and store it to my hard drive and then i just use NERO to burn it to a disk

I used to use DVD shrink and Nero until I found that program DVD decripter.
The one I had did everything for you in one sitting on one program.
The only thing you needed to do was watch the machine to put in a blank DVD to burn to.

I liked the simplicity of that

understandable. i am new to the whole DVD burning but i will have to check out the DVD decripter and see what that is all about. sorry i was not helpful but thankyou for being helpful to me.
