I agree 100%... but just because you follow them doesn't mean you have to push yourself to the point of crashing.

None of us here want to see you hurt, we know you have a ton of potential in this sport and tennis. One bad crash and both chances you have are shot. Minimize the risk dude, that's all I'm saying.

how about the time you said you were going to race in a wera race. I said sure I will too. and you posted how much it would cost and how i can't afford it. (as if you know how much i make)

or how about the time i spoke to you on the phone and you said you were going to make 70,000 dollars on some mortgage deal??? since your bikes still broke i'm assuming that didn't go through just like the wera race. huh???

wait a min, weren't you the kid that said you couldn't do trackdays and race days cause it was too expensive??? i think you are...

i didn't race the wera race because the ppl i was going with ended up not being able to make it, and i did make my money on the mortgage deal, not all 70k but i made a good lump sum of it... nice try though, it's called debt recovery, being in debt from past businesses can hurt quite a bit. the comment i made about being expensive was because you said you couldn't race and do trackdays... which trackdays are much cheaper than going to alabama to race... get your straight before you make an argument with me

actually, from others comments, i bet you they want me to go down bad, glad you're not one of them.... you know it's funny 50% of the track riders here decide to go to race group before they're ready to, i don't see them gettin bashed on @ ALL... but yet you seem to pick me

Wow... someone must have not only on your Cheerios, but your lunch and your dinner. :laughing6

Syd, I'm not picking on you. If you think you're being picked on then come back tomorrow and reread my posts. Maybe they will seem less 'mean spirited.'

BTW... the only ones I know from here (at LSTD events) who've done race group are Gianni, Carlos, Jeff Grant, Steve McNamara and Moody. Only one of them has crashed in said group.

Oh well... I'm tired and you're not going to listen anyways. I'm going to bed.

Just something to think about...

Don't be so closed minded. Just because I'm not as fast as you on a motorcycle doesn't mean I don't know something that can help you. I'm older and I'm sure I've had some more 'powerful' life experiences than you. You're young and cocky... but don't let that ruin friendships, career potentials and your future.

Sounds good Syd. I guess you are talking about the RideSmart track day which I should be getting out there on my new ride for a light cruize as well. I do not understand all this hate and bashing going on though... what is the deal with everybody? Syd was fast out there this year. Running a 1:55 on a stock R6 is pretty amazing. Everybody is always talking about people do not ride to the potential of their bikes... well, I would say Syd found the limit in T7 when trying to push harder then before and get a faster lap time. And well... anybody holding down that kind of pace would need to be in the race group? To many times do you come into a corner and find someone parked in the B group. Breaking the 2 minute barrier and having this occur is very dangerous.... just ask Ty Howard about his little trip to the hospital during one of his classes. Anyways, Syd... post up when you get more info about being able to go or not. It will be fun to chase each other around out there.

Everybody wrecks.... what matters is if you get hit by a car/bike or hit a tree when you go down. Luckily none of those occurred during my error at the track. :icon_smil
