Witchdoctor, Get new scales, or get in touch with reality. Got any documentation on your weights other than your mind? Robert Jensen's GSXR 1000 weighed 399 after the Heartland Park ASRA race--ie. NO FUEL, race body work, no street equipment. As I said, don't talk of things you do not know or can't back up with data.

Sensitive are ya?

It's just a number. So, what is the wet weight of it?

my 04 zx-10r weighed in at 405 w/ 3/4 tank of gas and all other fluids on a certified scale. course, there were ALOT of lightweight mods, including lightweight battery, carbon fairings, no street equipment, forged alu wheels, etc. not bad for an "outdated" dinosaur. lol.

dude seriously... watch who you call out here..... I already made 2 posts in this thread admitting I did not take into account coolant and battery weight. I stand behind my weights of gasoline and oil. STFU noob and move on!

got bored and looked up on

Right from Superbike Magazine(May 2008)

Honda CBR 1000RR Wet Weight 434.7lbs 159.5bhp @ 12,119rpm 75.5lb-ft @ 10,028rpm

Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Wet Weight 462.5lbs 162.65bhp @ 12,406rpm 75.9lb-ft @ 10,288rpm

These numbers will probably be different in every mag you read but they give you an idea at least.

*edit* both 2008

couldnt find the stats on the 05

yes, dry is dry, guess they try to make the seem as light as possible.

hmm, I wonder if they have taken into consideration the weight of the air in the tires at 0.0807lbs per cubic foot.

Yet another consideration...what does the rider weigh? Me on Curt's bike is a pound or two lighter than with him on it.

I run helium in the tires...wheelies a lot though
