yea im with you Pete, but for me its money i spend like a 50-100 bucks a week to ride and its fun and all. But i need to concentrate on other things. I will still come out on the weekends some times and go out to the twisties when i can make it. But no more of this every day or every weekend. manly im just tired of throwing my money down the drain and getting tired of the same ol routs.....

Plus with the new job i will be working 5-7 days a week i dought i will feel like riding...

Well I think your doing the right thing Pete. However your not retiring. You see you have gone through the obsession stage and now your about to back it down to hobby stage. Doing anything too much is bad, so it might make a huge difference for you to back it down. Don’t think of it as retiring, think of it as you stepping into the role that you are personally meant to play.

Your bike is going to collect dust the way a bike should for you. Riding SOCIALLY every day pushes other things out of the way.

Let everything have its place, Let each part of your business have its time!

isn't that what everyone does...ride when they feel like it?! Just because there's a meet it doesn't mean you have to be there...if you ain't feeling it then you ain't feeling it. Plus, bike to me is not my main mean of transportation, I only use it from time to time. So Pete, you're not retiring, you're just going to ride your bike normally now
