It was always 10hp behind. Their major issue was electronics and development. The basic powerplant was actually sound, the chassis was superb. They could never make up the power deficit or solve the little probs. Not enough cubic bucks invested to properly take on the Japanese powerhouses.

geezz... it's 1250cc and they STILL have to supercharge it to get to 180 hp..

I applaud any US made Sportbike. But no one is confident in anything made in the US these days. Look at Buell and Fischer. Hardley makes a pretty cool cruiser but, too expensive. I was really excited about the 1125R, but everything I've read about them aren't good. And this is from consumers. I don't know what Fischer is doing.
The only bike that looks to show real promise is Motoczyz. Beautiful bike but for $100K? Jeezuz!! Give me a break. I lost faith and I'm just gonna be like everybody else and get a Zookie. Time proven and dependable.

What do you expect? Its a harley, automatically a pos. IM surprised its not air cooled with spoke wheels
