A gixxerbill-esque thread

If i were to put a long tube on my air intake (like a snorkel) and put a loop in the tube from the crankcase vent to keep water from getting in, could my 50 take on... say... 2 feet of water? I'm just wondering what it would take because i may encounter some water "if i decided to try to ride tomorrow during the storm".... I'm not saying i will wheelie with a 70mph crosswind through a 2 foot deep puddle of water... but if the situation was to present itsself, do you think it would work or that i could?

SB, I think you need something for the exhaust too. Unless you plan on keeping it WIDE open during this little experiment.

i think it would have to be to get through 2 feet of water. I think the coil is a sealed unit so i don't have to worry about it getting wet

maybe if you cut a paddle section out of a surfboard (someone elses) and put paddles on the tires, you could zoom on top of the water. but you better ask permission from jeebus first, or you're hellbound.
