yeah, I realized that by looking at the pics.

But they do make it look like I slid with style

It was pretty unexpected, I felt the slide out, thought I was gonna lowside and then bam!!!!, rear tire hooked up, bike was straight up, tons of head shake and there I went....

Glad I'm sitting here laughing it out rather than in a hospital bed!

I was riding Michelin Pilot Powers street tires....I still didn't hit the wear bars yet Think I'm good for another trackday???

I've done 2 trackdays om them and not sure prior to that as the tires came on the bike when I got it from Josh....I'm sure they had seen their fair share of heat cycles though as I don't use warmers or anything

LOL, time to go to race tires you are ready. I know they are expensive but you can buy take offs that are better than street tires for $100.

yeah, hard lesson learned I guess. I really didn't have any issues except that last left hander before hitting the back straight ( I can't remember those turn names) I found the end sliding a bit, but it was manageable. The turn I crashed in caught me by suprise. I had good traction there all day and then wham, here we go

The day I decided to go from powers to race rubber is when I head oh moment coming out of the carosel going CCW. The back end slid out then caught(sorta like yours except I was going over a 100mph) throwing me into a violent scary tank slapper with my legs banging against the tail section of the bike as I was like flying on top of the bike. All I could think of was man this is going to hurt then it stopped. Bought race rubber for the next trackday.

You will go faster too. Well after you get over the fear of the highside you just had. Takes me a couple of trackdays or more to get over a hurtful expensive crash.

that is exactly what happened to the "T" except as the tank slapper happened my body was going faster than the bike and I was launched over....all I was thinking was, "dear I hope I come out unscathed". I knew I was crashing at that point.
