Drivers ed

I'm thinking that it should be mandatory to learn motorcycle safety in drivers ed......maybe that would make people more conscious of motorcycles and what they are/are not capable of?

When I took drivers ed, they did touch base on the subject a little. Not much, but they would tell you to stay like 5 seconds behind a bike instead of 3. Basically they just told us to give the bikers lots of extra room since they can move much faster than a car.

that's what I'm saying......they need to go deeper into the subject.....stuff like "your ford focus stops from 70mph in 175 ft....and an average motorcycle can stop from 70mph in 100 ft....so stay the away from them"....hahahaha
