ninja 250 problems

Hey all, just wondering if anyone else with a ninja 250 had problems starting the engine up. Can't seem to have the engine turn over when choke is off and it is driving me nuts! When the choke is all the way on, it rpms around 5 or 6 but falls quickly until the engine shuts off when less than half of choke or no choke is on. I think maybe the carburator might be dirty or something. I poured some seafoam in and am hoping this will help the engine start up like normal again after a day or two. Anyone have any experiences with this? Its a new 07 bike but i haven't ridden it in about a month and i forgot to turn the fuel valve off. carburated bikes....

There should be an idle adjustment on the side of the carburators where the throttle linkage connects. Try this first.
