just get used to be shocked at people's stupidity....I'm still amazed at the inventive ways people show their stupidity but I have come to expect that some somewhere will top the last guy w/some new and improved level of stupidity

The various fallacies of our society are getting harder to deal with as time advances. I swear, some of these people driving pay absolutely no attention to their surroundings. Then again, you have those idiots who purposely try and harm others for absolutely no reason.

There's 2 ways to handle someone like that - move over and let um go by. or go off and leave em. If i was a fairly new rider (and in particular a girl) I would move over and let them go by.
If you choose the go off and leave em
option and you have the bike and the skills , it is no big deal; but you better be prepared to deal with the possible consequences. They may take it as a
challenge and give chase, you may get pulled over by the cops (and don't expect any sympathy by the way) , you may crash, etc.
You aint in daddy's suv or hubby's pickup or even mom's Camry. If you keep riding with that type of "car mentality" and try to confront other drivers and show them that can't bully you - you aren't gonna be riding long.

Case in point:

I had just gotten on the freeway here in Sealy, at the top of the overpass I see a dark car on the shoulder. I know that there is a charcoal gray charger with the word SHERIFF painted on the side, in ghost letters, so i check my speed. Right about that time a middle eastern @sswhole decided to change lanes and almost takes out my front end with his rear bumper. Now i'm pisst, so i forget all about the cop. I ride up next to the guy and proceed to "gesture" my anger and then twist my wrist. I double the speed limit around the S-curve, when it straightens out I roll off to about eighty. Check my mirrors, I see a car coming up quickly, so i change lanes, he gets behind me and hits his light, Cr@p! He tells me that he saw the whole thing and would have stopped the other guy had i not sped off. So he gives me a ticket for 96 in a 70, thanks to the curve he didn't get my top speed.

So yah he actually was witness to the event and still no slack. sucks but true

I used to get a lot at people's stupidity when I first started riding. Now I'll just roll on the throttle and problems seem to just disappear. It seems like the more agitated you look the more they'll egg you on.

You started out doing the right thing and then made your own bad choices. Slow down and force them to go around. Don't follow, don't react and never get off the bike to get in their face.

I know how frustrating it is but after a year or two of it happening all the time you will just consider it a part of your daily commute, laugh it off and go on with your ride.

Be safe out there.

Bad news, sorry to hear about it. Definitely get a plate number next time, there are some friends on the board that might be willing to track it to an owner.

This happens to me on occasion as well as most riders; but us guys don't have to deal with the leg humpers. Be careful out there. And in regards to kicking in doors, windows, mirrors... don't open that pandora's box unless you are prepared to deal with some really bad chit. That's how you get run into a ditch, knocked off your bike, etc....

+1, Like into the clear lane next to you & just let the jerkoff by. The roads are full of , the best thing to do is avoid them.
