Without a doubt it is fake!

This is clearly shown by the CBR being in the back of the pack.

if your thinking about mounting the 5000 dollar camera to the back of a bike it wouldnt work because the bikes have moation blur towards the camera and the center bike is moving.. (look at the wheels)

Wouldn't a 5000 dollar camera have really good zoom?

Exactly what I was going to say. Also, why does it look like the two in front are going real fast and the back is clear as ? I would think if the camera were attached to one of the bikes it would look normal since it would be moving just as fast. I could be wrong, but the lack of spray is a dead giveaway.

zoom is based on the lense.. not the camera

My thoughts as well. They would have spray or some sort of a rooster tail behind them for anything over just a couple miles per hour.

that has nothing to do with it. if the camera was mounted to a moving bike the pavement would be blurred if the 2 other bikes were blurred..... not to mention water spray from tires drenching the camera

The camera is on the back of a 4th bike which is going at the speed of the last one. The two bikes on the outer side just need to go a notch faster than the camera bike. Camera set at about 1/80th exposure. That's at least how I would do it . Much cheaper also than Photoshop.

On a second look the ground looks too stable. So another cheaper option (this time in Photoshop) would be to just have the two other bikes move and later make the front wheel
of the last bike blurry to give the impression of movement .

The best and easiest way however to find out is to ask the photographer. There are many ways that lead to Rome .

Mike

I think it's real - looks fast but it could've been done with stationary camera and slow bikes.... I don't know how the road could be still, and the bikes moving if the camera was moving too.... I think it's in-camera.

Awesome image! A poster of this would be great!

Why would it have to be mounted to a bike?
