Any idea on what time we'll be returning?

sometimes there's a group that doesn't eat at yankees and heads back early but usually after lunch, we pass the meet spot coming back home around 2-2:30ish. hope that helps

Caligonetx may have a better idea of the time situation tho...

You can be back to my side of town in about 1.5 hours from Yankees, without trying too hard. Should be at Yankees by 11 - 12 I am guessing.

Im sorry to hear brother...

Usually we return after eating at 2-230 as skmart2 mentioned,

We r leaving a half an hour later and wont be stopping long at the Anderson Shell. When we ride 3090 to 149, we will head back to 90(the remembrance part of the ride to skip the second part of 3090) 149 through the forest is right there. At highway pace, that would put u back at the meeting spot roughly around 11-12 depending on speed of the initial ride over.

Lemme know if you can make it at all; Jim brought up your name but I understand the circumstances and wish for peace in that situation.

Easy enough: just head back down 244 to 90, then hwy 6 to 105, and down 362 all the way back to I-10
It skips some of the fun roads, but gets you back quicker.

You could even go Hwy 6 down and catch 359 south to Brookshire if you really want a straight shot. From Carlos (Yankees) to 99 and I-10 is 76 miles.

There are several spots you could turn off up through the forest or at the first stop at 90/149(gas station.)

This ride isn't the usual forest ride, we are trying to accomidate everyone this time w a later start time and more options for return and times to turn off. Im suppose to be working this weekend but traded for this ride so I'm in the same boat

Cali is correct; I was assuming most would go up to Yankees, then head back

If you're short on time, maybe some would want to go the whole 3090 and meet us at the end AT 244... that's cool... Very nice memorial they put up. We talked to the owner about establishing something behind the fenceline so the county can't clean it away.
