There are always other bikes parked up there as well! Just have been lucky, with no ticket, I guess!

This forum is good and that is why I posted my experience. It helps to share our experiences and let everybody know what we do right or wrong even though we do know what is right or wrong. Sometimes our own mistakes can help somebody else.

Up at BW3s on Bay Area, the Webster PD is always checking for bikes in the HC parking and on the sidewalks. One of them pulled behind me and asked me why I was parking there in the HC. I said cause I am in a wheelchair. Look at my plates not my ride. Lol.

It will be an expensive lunch or dinner if you do get caught. I'm going to go recycle cans.

I think next time maybe you shouldn't park blocking handicap access. If he took a pic good luck getting off. Pay the ticket and learn an expensive lesson. It's not a moving violation so it won't go on your driving record.

Lesson learned indeed. That goes for all the bikes that park at Cinemark 18 in Webster. I've seen a lot of bikes park in the crosshatched area.

True, but justice system doesn't work like that ("They do it why can't I") It sucks but we all learn expensive lessons, I have had my fair share. Just take it as a loss bro, I don't think that argument that other bikes are doing it will work in court.

Man that's bogus, sorry to hear you got such a fat ticket.

I have parked in the striped area many of times and never got a ticket or even double looked for that matter. One time I parked in a handycapped spot in galveston cuz the sign was hid, $500 ticket!

That's weird how he would take you license up??

Striped area is there so that those in a handicap parking spot have room to get out of there accessible vehicles.
