cornerworking is simple,, all you gotta do is keep a close eye on everyone coming thru the turns, make sure that IF something odd happens, like a crash or a run off you need to call it in to control and they will let you know what to do based on the info that you give them, if someone just runs off the track and stays up you may just have to raise a Yellow till the bike is back on the track and out of the way, if someone goes down and doesnt get up you will prolly throw up a Red flag to stop the session. Basic thing is to just watch out for mishaps. It's somewhat fun to watch all the guys come thru the turns, you could learn things from doing this.

yeah, i forgot about the black one,, but you dont normally ever use that one.. has to be pretty extreme circumstances to use this one.. most people ride with respect and do look out for others around them...

well, depends on the "group" riding............rarely in the race group, but if it's the begineer group........people tend to ride over their heads....and crash alot.

Definitely check out the guidelines that we at Lone Star Track Days have at the link that Jeff dropped above. I am in charge of the cornerworking for LSTD and would love to answer any and all questions you may have. Everyone is right, it is a great way to learn the corners because you are right there next to the track and can watch as riders come through the turns, but the best thing is that you can earn free track time. We do it two ways.
1. cornerwork half of the day and ride the other half
Or
2. cornerwork all day and get a credit in which you can use for an upcoming event.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to give me a call at 281-709-3225.
