i used to go on those hi speed runs back in the day... seen a lot of riders go down over the years... but basically i came to believe that the risk is far outweighed by the consequences...

praying for julie... pls keep us posted man...

Gregg rides the yellow one; she has a black 600 but gets tired of chasing those guys all the time.

Post up anything else you find out... thanks!

I was all ready to jump down his throat but it happened at normal speed while they were just chillin' waiting on the rest of the crowd. Not sure 100% but sounds like he grabbed the front brake too hard while swerving to avoid the car and lost the front end. That bike needs new steering head bearings as well so I don't know if that contributed.

I agree ^^ That area and 1960 is a pita after 9:00 pm. I always felt uneasy riding there at that times and later when the bars and clubs let out.

That's horrible. I hope the best for Julie.

Be careful everyone. Lots of brain dead drivers out there in the past week. Car next to me came over in my lane heading to work one day last week. I saw it happening and was able to move towards the other side of my lane while simultanously slowing down to get out of the way. Then, 2 cars pulled out in front of me on Friday. Thankfully, I watched the cars ahead of me and was ready for their brain dead driving decisions.

best wishes for them.

i had a rookie follow me through the clovers friday night, he never came out the other side...

found out later he got lost and just went home.
(guess he didnt understand the concept of them and by the time i exited the second one i never saw his headlight behind me again.)

none the less it was a bad feeling when he never came out, probably the last time i go through there with people i dont know following me.
