do you have to get full coverage on a bike if you finance it.

I'd NEVER buy a bike without full coverage. I know to many guys that have had them wrecked or stolen and owe $10k on something that no longer exists.

Most financial institutions require full coverage also. Unless you buy it on a credit card, that's about the only way around it. Again, why in the would you do either of those...

+1, usually under $10k they will let you go w/ lia. only.

so lets see, finance 10k, so you owe $14k. you onlt get lia.

on an item that stolen ALOT
and crashed alot

makes perfect sense.

i had HSBC on my last bike, they didnt make me get any insurance at all.

if your buying an 06 or up (and bike is in decent condition), go with full coverage anyway

sounds like you got a personnal loan vs vehicle loan. and the state of TX requires lia. as a minimum. no way around that.

well, they never asked for it. but you did probebly have to have at least liabilty. so my other statement is false
