I always thought that would of been cool to do in my younger days, but at 41 I would probably have some young guy dislocate my hip or break one of my bird legs. My older brother (RIP) used to play semi-pro for a team in Arizona many years ago.

The semi-pro team I played with DIDN'T PAY! These leagues are Fun but can get expensive and then you gotta take injury vs. able to work into account. That is the reason I don't play anymore! Otherwise I would be out BRINGING THE PAIN!

yeah, I know. I was just curious cause I did that in Waco and they didn't pay either. I didn't have health insurance at the time either so I quit after seeing a few people get banged up pretty bad.. . . but it was fun.

I played cornerback in college but semi pro football is so undisciplined and unorganized. Most teams don’t have adequate facilities or equipment. Besides that I have watched games and it looks like junior college football. I would play if at least the league paid…….LOL!!!

I played semi-pro in New Mexico. Ended up with a broken leg. I don't regret playing, though. It was a lot of fun. Just make sure that you have health insurance. Look into getting Aflac, too.
