Got Some New Gear

I went over and picked up my new gear today, i had to order it since they don't carry my size in stock (6'5" 290lbs). Got me a Joe Rocket AlterEgo 2.0 and a set of alpinestars SMX-2 A C gloves

Got Some New Gear
356775 black

Gonna order a Shoei helmet online since i didn't feel like paying the exhortation prices at the dealer but i tried them on so i know the size

Shoei RF-1000 are amazing helmets. Check out CycleGear...you won't find much of a better price on them besides there.

Seems a little unethical to go to a dealer, try on a helmet then order from somewhere else.

One day maybe he won't be there, and when you got a question or need warranty work...

I say try Motorcycles Unlimited FIRST, then try shopping around different dealers. If Patrick can't get it and have a competitive price I'll eat my leathers. (that I bought at Motorcycles Unlimited)

CG's prices on Shoei are competitive. Most places around here can't compete from what I have seen

Not really, the cool part is that the outer shell of most of the jacket zips out and it becomes almost a 100% mesh jacket and is quite cool

i guess thats the name alter ego??

maybe if the dealers had some ethics themselves, other than trying to milk you for all your worth.

The alter ego is a good jacket. Has CE armor. I liked it because of once you put the rain liner, and over liner on it was warm as in the winter, and you could still layer up.
