RIP

To the rider that crashed on the HOV on 59 and 610.
I stopped right behind the cop that was at the scene and he told me that the guy was trying to pass a bus and came into the corner too fast and hit the wall and fell off the overpass. There was a skid mark from his front tire all the way to the wall.
And the cop at the scene gave the guy that I let pass me in the HOV a ticket for following me too close and only having one person in the car. And there was a off duty sheriff in the truck in front of him that talked to the cop and there was a unmarked behind the guy when I let him pass me so he was F'ed anyway.

...I am always scared of wrecking on those elevated freeways and going off the side. RIP fellow rider.

Someone posted before that the HOV was a playgroung, NO ITS NOT!
The officer told me that they let the bikes ride it because of how dangerous it is on the freeway and this is the second bike wreck that I have herd about on it.
I ride it because I feel safer on it except when I get tailed by the people trying to catch up to the car in front of them that is going NOWHERE.

I OR WE (THE FIRE TRUCK) were on the way to that accident location this afternoon, when we heard the rider didn't make it and we could return to service and make another run. Kinda didn 't want to go just cause
1. I ride a bike and that could be me. and 2. Didn't want it to be one of my buddies.
I didnt want to post anything until someone else did just to be polite and not to let any bad news out before everything was confirmed.
Well all I can really say is:
RIP
You guys that ride tonight or later this week(end) RIDE SAFE!

R.I.P.

There has been a few mc accidents where the rider has fallen over the edge like that in the last couple of years. I always take those elevated highway ramps slow and cautiously!

??? Not Sure ???

I just came back from a funeral>A Houston man is dead after crashing a motorcycle into a moving vehicle in South San Antonio. Police say Ruperto Gutierrez, 41, hit the side of a Dodge Durango in the intersection of Rockwood Court and Cherry around 10:30 Sunday night. Gutierrez died about a half hour later. The driver of the Durango was cited for driving without a license. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.<

Theres alot of sense-less death happening more and more...
RIP
TO ALL OUR FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND FELLOW RIDERS we have lost

No, SLFD, but I teach as San Jac at the academy and I know quite a few HFD from there and 20 some odd years in...
