I doubt "bad gas" would have affected you so quickly.. you still had to burn what was in your lines and fuel pump unless you ran out of gas.

if the gas was bad enough, i.e. lots of water in it, especially with the new ethanol fuels, he was lucky for the bike to even start at all. the new 10% ethanol blend is very very suceptible to any amount of water in it. and with all the rain we've had lately, it's not out of the question for that water to get into a storage tank if it's not sealed properly.

gas stations are liable for any damage caused to your vehicle by the effects of bad gas, by law. they deal with it all the time, as long as they're fairly honorable just contact the manager of the store, and bring your invoice from javi. shouldnt be an issue getting it fixed.

Buddy of mine stopped in at a Shell off of 2920 and about 20 mins into the ride same thing! No rain though, had to keep his hand on the trottle to keep it running. He was running 93 oct. as well. His bike only had 3900 still under warranty.

Tell Javi to throw in a Helmet and write it up as OIL on the invoice and BAM you get a NEW HELMET!
