need tires for track day

gonna get my first hit on the track pipe aug 2 at msrh, but my tires are gonna have 8200 miles on them at the end of the weekend when i get back from dallas.

might as well get some new rubber for the track, and i'm not sure if they'll even pass tech?

anyway, i've got 120 on front and 160 on back.

anyone have some take offs that i could get for cheap before next weekends track day?

pilot powers seem good for the occasional track day. Same goes with Pirelli Diablos.
For dedicated tracking I would look to Power Races or again Pirelli (that is what I feel most confident on, but it is your call really).
If you won't be riding really hard, I would stick with the street tires.

Blends,
I have some take-offs, as well as some new ones. New race DOT's are $258 a set. Race take-offs $75/set. I'm currently at the CMRA races at Hallett, but I can take care of you next week.

003's are only $258???

So with TT&L, freight & prep, mount and balance, what does that come out to... $275?

$258 sounds like a deal to me....keep in mind, he has a 160 rear though.

Blends good luck finding takes of for a 160 rear. Just go pick you up a set of M3's. You are like me and do alot of riding. M3's are hard in the middle for lots of miles but they are sticky enough on the sides to do what they need to on the track.

I am satisfied with mine. Just wish I would have bought more sets when Patrick had them on sale.
