I'm sorry, but I just watched the FIM Supersport race at Bruno, at it makes AMA racing just not worth watching. The Motogp was great fun, but the AMA stuff just doesn't have it right now....IMHO

While it's true that the Kawi riders claim to have so much power on the zx10, they complain that you can't turn it or put the power to the ground. What good does having "all that power" do when you can't put it to the ground or turn?

If having all that power is so great, why did he get beat by a privateer 'Zook and the other two 'Zooks who were in first and second were 20 seconds ahead?

In this current format of AMA racing, they'll never match the power or handling of the 'Zook. Even in WSBK where there are more controls and parity, the Kawis just don't have the juice.

Now the ZX6 does great in supersport and in club racing... go figure.

Kawi never stopped racing the ZX6. They bowed out of the premier class and therefor missed out on 2 years of R&D. Suzuki stayed in the game.

This could merely be coincidental or it could be delayed gratification. Hacking has done much better than I anticipated developing that bike. Another year could be very interesting, especially so if we could swap Tommy for Roger.

And Yates is not exactly on a privateer bike. Jordan is a close to Factory Yoshimura as they will let him get!! Bazzaz was once on the Yosh crew and he is know the Jordan Racing crew chief.

Provided DMG does not really screw things up, there might be some close racing within the next 10-16 months.

But if you listen to MJ, he'll tell you the opposite!

I agree, it's about as close as you can get, but dang impressive for a team that's not "supported"... officially...

Remember they never raced the ZX9, they always ran the ZX7R. That bike was a true performer IMHO. The last year Eric B. rode that bike, he was poised for a championship. So they had YEARS of lost R&D.

Yet is nowhere in World SuperSport and only gets rarely seen at the sharp end in the British SuperSport 600 series.
I don't get it
I don't think it is just the present rider line up but.................
