If its stripped... check the threads closely for the drain plug. If they look clean its time to either replace the pan or find a larger diameter tap and bolt for it.
yeah I heard a pop sound when I was tightening it....and then I could just untighten it with my fingers after that happened and it started leaking oil....luckily I only added half a quart of the new oil to see that it was all leaking out.

I'm 100% sure its the pan thats stripped too, the bolt was clean...but i stuck my finger up in the pan hole and it had some loose metal in there.

I just read your thread to patrick...

Unfortunately, they like to use a steel/alloy bolt and an aluminium pan. Go figure. If there is enough room(we have done it to cars with more then 6 inches of room to thread) you can helicoil it. Usually works quite well. I'm sorry to hear that....

If it rains we will take the gas money and cage it to main event and ride the bike games. I'll still bring my camera.

So there is going to be two groups, Tiatool leading the fast group , Cali said he's leading the slow group.. Too new for a fast group. I'm down for a Sat slow group if not too many or if not enough for a slow group, nevermind.

C'mon Dan. You are invited. In all reality, yes there will be a slow and fast group, but it is really whatever. We wait for everyone at every intersection, so as long as you ride your own ride, you will be fine. Whatever group you ride with.

But to LEAD you gotta know where you are going!
