way to act like profesionals. it was a lot more technical than i thaught it would be. tons more miles too. i checked a map and had no idea the national forest was as large as it is. my legs are still jiggly.lol. and i really need to do something about my hair. really tho, i felt like i was led by professionals, and i say thanx for being so generous with yall's time.

Glad you made it home! BTW, when you're able to practice wheelies again... move over to the left lane...away from the other riders in your group..

thx

Thanks to the unknown guys who helped me push start her. She is getting a new battery this week (and other random goodies). Looks pretty good for original plastics with over 43,000 miles now!

I had a blast. That gixxer crash was pretty wicked. I almost ate it once, too. The guy that I was following would hit the throttle super hard down the straight and then brake so hard into the turn and make the turn slower than imaginable and then hit the throttle as hard as he could until the next turn. It was ridiculous. I learned quickly not to follow him to close. I was waiting for him to load his front tire too much with all that hard braking and loose it, but he never did. I didn't expect him to slow down that much. Going 160 down the straights and 20 through the corners to try to keep behind everyone else is idiotic.

We came back down 3090 and then split off across highway 6 to 159, 1155, back through fayettville/brookshire. It was around 400 miles for the day. Nice trip!

D*MN LEE! I dont know how you pulled that off, but glad you did. Thats a tricky corner cuz that double apex. Thats what i learned my first trackday, if you think your coming in to hot, your prolly not so just dive in. but i have sat up in a corner before and went off so i know how it feels. bet you needed to change your pants after that tho!

yea, I dived in, but if you watch the vid close, you'll see that my bike wiggled when i hit the yellow line. That's what caused me to stand the bike up.

When I hit the grass, I did grab a "footfull" of rear brake...decided quickly that that was a bad idea.

yea, about 10 or 15 minutes after this another guy came thru, and from the way he explained it to me, he grabbed too much brake, high sided it and skidded for a ways on his head. Trucked his bike out later, after a yankee burger... even after all that... he had a really good attitude.
