'nother noob!

Hey everyone, Recently moved to Spring after getting out of the Navy. Been riding about 8 years, all in California. And it has been a shock riding in Houston, like everyone is out to get you. First time I tried splitting lanes someone tried to run me off the road...man I miss Cali. My leathers and boots have been collecting dust since I have been here because its so frikken humid/hot.
Met a few at Humble Starbucks last week. Hope to meet up again for rides or whatever soon.

Yeah I know but I was stuck in traffic one day and said what the ....needless to say I don't anymore. I feel a lot safer splitting lanes. Most countries in the world allow it. its common place in Cali and noone messes with you. But it would never work here until the cager accepted it without feeling jeolous and trying to kill you.
I used to think Texas had the friendliest drivers I don't know what happened since I left, I would take LA traffic in a heartbeat...at least on a bike

texas has friendly drivers when you're in a cage......i personally don't see anything wrong with splitting....it's just the cagers being jealous....
