There are plenty of us that will help you get started however we can.
Do you have any experience on a track?
How much on the street?

The best track to start on is the next one available on the calendar... seriously though, every track has different aspects to it, but you will learn ALOT on any of them.

Personally, I like Cresson out of any of the tracks available in the State.

Check out this link: http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=49455

Check some of that info out and see what you think.

I'm with Pam though, I think that Texas World Speedway (College Station) would allow your VMax to stretch it's legs the best! Not to mention, there's only 1 or 2 turns that would slow you up- most of those turns are wide sweepers that carry a lot of speed.

Our school usually has a few cruisers, and they all love the TWS (Texas World Speedway) course.
Take a look at www.ridesmart.info to see what their schedule is like, as well as pricing.

Should you decide to join us, we will be there twice in September (1st on Labor Day, and again on the 27th.
If you are wishing for something closer in time, MSR is coming up on August 10. I would say ECR is fun as well, but it is kind of far from the Houston area (assuming that is where you are), and I am not sure how cruisers would do there due to all the elevation changes (although all people during the parade laps liked it).

Good luck with tracking, you will love it (Dave has lots of footage of cruisers at the track).
Take care.

ol' man how you been?

Been riding with Jay for a few years now and he wouldn't have any problems out there at TWS (Texas World Speedway), or any track for that matter. Besides he has Hill Country experience

With us (LSTD), the "C" group commonly has cruisers in it. Sometimes, we offer a "cruiser only" group.

In our "C" group, we do one "round robin" which is the first session of the day for that group. If people still have issues, we'll make sure that they get paired with an instructor to help you through the day.

Sounds like you should be fine

Let us know if we can do anything, we're always bringing in new addicts to the track pipe!
