almost hit a possum last night

Anyone hit something like that before?

kinda scared me, kinda made me laugh, i've heard possums sometimes jump straight up when scared, turning themselves into cannonballs through car windshields or into rider helmets.

yeah, I came within feet of hitting a gator @ Crystal beach a few yrs ago. It was at least eight feet long because it took up the entire south bound lane, which was the direction I was traveling. That would really suck to crash from hitting that thing. After you fall, it'll eat you!!!!!

I decapitated a squirrel once. Felt really bad too cuz when i stopped to see it in the rearview mirror, it was twitching. So I backed up over it to end it's misery... it may sound cruel, but I'd want someone to do it for me.

I aim for squirrels. It makes riding a lot more fun. We usually have a point system.

We base it on the difficulty of hitting them. I once got 50 points for going up a sidewalk onto the driveway. Almost lost the rascal but I creamed him. :icon_smil

i ran over a dead dog once. i was going about 90 on eldrige near bearcreek park. it was night and no one was there but real far ahead i see my lights hit the reflective tape on the side of a cop car. so i slow up and im looking in the distance at the cop to see if hes going to give me a ticket. i look back at the road and boom i hit a dead dog. it made the bike jump a lot but it was already pretty flattened out. the next day when i washed my bike there was dried up blood on my bike.
