why would you even stop if you are going 180+ mph? I know i'll probably get flamed by the popo's on the board or random people....but by the time the cop turns around you'll be in the next county.....plus the cop has to be behind you with lights on....otherwise you could just claim you didn't see him and for it to be a "felony fleeing" they need to have you on video trying to lose them.

I don't think it's worth the time for most officers to take you to jail for a traffic violation. So it's possible you just him/her off, or maybe they think you've got something in the vehicle.

Keep in mind a cop can take you to jail for anything....that why i would never sit on the tank, or speed excessively, or do wheelies or anything like that, ever.
