The race was awsome, right up until Stoner out braked himself and dropped it..I would have loved to see them battle all the way till the end, but it was still some of the best action of the season....granted the rest of the racing was pretty tame but for spies to put it in the top was great to see and Nikky at least nesr the front with no gremlins other than cold tires. Colin appearantly was a little more dinged from his get off last week that it first appeared.

Those girls had to be FREEZING up there soaked with bubbly.

You guys remember this

Istanbul 2007... Post race Rossi was left unimpressed with both his tyre and Elias' overtaking moves (which were exactly what he'd done to Hopkins the lap before)... "After ten or eleven laps, the tyre started to lose all grip and I had to slow right down because I was quite scared. It felt like there was a big problem with the tyre and I had to go very carefully just to finish". He went on to say "I'm also quite unhappy with Elias today because I think he was quite dangerous - more than once he passed me on the inside and then altered his line. This is not a correct way to race."

If you remember that race Elias was sliding Garry McCoy style all over the fuggin place and I think almost hit Hayden or Melandri in practice, then apologized only to do the same thing in the race with Hopkins and Rossi.

His issue was he'd get in a nice out braking slide - only to run wide himself. If your gonna make a pass, make it stick. Besides.... Rossi did it to win it with just Stoner and not like Elias off half the racers!

He "did ride like da devil" that race though...

I remember now,
Elias OWNED one particular corner and Rossi followed him in there pretty deep and that old stressometer (leg out) of his was flapping pretty madly

I stuff people on a regular basis but I dont leave them with no where to go because they just might decide to hit ME instead of runnin off track. With that said stoner is a crying aussie when he's not in the lime light.

Fixed.

If it were "all yamaha", Colin would have been in the top three and probably won. This race was won by Rossi because he's Rossi. If Stoner would have kept it upright, he might have won it, and that would have been because of his talent too.

When the nearest competitor is 10 seconds back in MotoGP and still makes the podium, it's the riders at that point (who happen to have great setups and tires too).
