No, it's not as comfortable at all compared to the ZZR. So ya wanna pay several grand more just in case something breaks? It's a Kawasaki, it'll last forever.

FI is the way to go.
Even dirt bikes will be FI soon enough.
Just jump on the FI and ride.

my girl has a 07 zzr and the seating position is alot more comfortable then most 600 I have riden. the bike has respectable power for what it is. as far as getting around houston. its a pretty good ride. although it does seem kinda heavy. feels heavier then my 900 but maybe its just me.

not sure if the 08 is any different.

If you like a more upright riding position then my suggestion would be a Ninja 650R. It's cheaper, has fuel injection, lots of low/midrange grunt for daily commuting, and is a hoot to ride. It is also cheaper than the ZZR!
