adjusting valves?????????

Alright, I have a 2003 Kawasaki Ninja ZX7R with almost 13,000 miles on it. I was told i needed to get my valves adjusted. Has anyone here had this done before, or know about what it would cost to get done. I would just like to no an estimated cost before I start taking it to shops to see what they charge.

Thanx for the help.

P.S. I also need new front and rear brake pads put on. How much does that cost?

Thanx again
