*****SPOILER*****

Grid Results for Laguna

Well, Spies was up into 4th in times, but as others got out on their qualifying tires he dropped back quickly to 13th.

Stoners times on race tires was only beat by Rossi on Qualifying tires, all others still couldn't get to where Stoner was riding despite the tires.

Don't think De Angelis will return tomorrow, left hand looked pretty bad, won't be close to front if he does. I think Ben will make top 10 for sure. Hacking will bring up the rear.

Hayden won't last up there for a full race. Hasn't done it in forever. He'll get passed by numerous people and end up around 10-11th.

Apperently the Michelin guys are having a hard time hooking it up. This is the race that prompted Rossi's switch to the stones last year after they did so well. Nicky will podium but it will be the bottom step. I'd really like to see Spies pull something out of his and beat the other Suzuki riders, but he is also riding the AMA superbike and possibly the SS race so he's gonna be a tired guy when they line up the GP race. Only real question is how far ahead will Stoner be? 20 seconds this year?

Some badass racing. One of the better, if not best, GP's I have seen. I hope it's good in Indy as well.
