Question about Selling ASAP!

Okay I'm supposed to be selling my 250 but i wont get the title until after i send the money in into the bank...but the buyer doesn't want to get in trouble if something happened, so would the need to sign a contract or something?

bill of sale....stating vin number, type of bike, amount paid...all details that would help if something went wrong in the future.

both of you sign and get a witness to sign as well.....also make copies of it.

GL finding a buyer that'll go for that. Personally I would want the title in hand when I buy.

I have plenty that I didnt have title for. The bank has had it every time. You take them to the bank and they pay them.

Get this form to protect yourself if the buyer starts blowing toll road booths or runs from the cops while the title's still in your name.

Contact your bank (or whatever entity has a lien on your title) and ask them how to handle the sale so the buyer is comfortable.

Buyer gets the original, seller should get copy.

Buyer is taking a big risk that you will actually pay the bike off and deliver them the title. I personally would not buy this way.
