Sorry guy i am 500% sure there is, it's my truck and it's a 4 step stock paint called Deep Blue Metallic, has flake in it

It needs a good coat of wax and a good camera to bring it out

Black is a good color for a first bike. If it ever does fall over you can touch up the scratches with a sharpie, or you can buy some touch up paint from your local auto parts store. I say leave it black and have fun.

IMHO having your bike match your truck might look a little too "matchy" if you know what I mean...
I like Hot Rod Pearl Yellow the color Honda painted the Goldwings. Maybe you can tell in this pic...

sorry, there are no flakes in the oem paint. although in your particular color, it's mainly made up of pearl toners.

here's a breakdown of what's inside your color

Blue pearl, bright maroon transperancy, light grey transperancy, deep black, reddish blue pearl, and bright blue transperancy....

now that we got the technical stuff out of the way ......i say keep it black. lemme know if you need some help in the paint department, i can give you a nice price.

Rock it then. Who cares what anyone else thinks?

I think you're confusing "metallic" with "flake". The metallic (or more accurately pearl in your case) is sometimes called "metal flake" by mistake- even "metallics" really aren't a "flake". Metal flake is actually a much more noticeable and bigger material that can go as big as the 1970's style metal flakes.
