Ben crashed in first practice..

"American wild card Ben Spies was fastest during the early stages of the 60-minute practice, but the young Texan crashed his Rizla Suzuki GSV-R with 23 minutes remaining. Spies was uninjured, according to his manager Doug Gonda, and resumed practice on his back-up bike. Spies ended up 11th on the time sheet."

The cool thing about FP1 and 2 is that they test their race tires and suspension setups, more of a race comparison than qualifying.

We'll see what happens on Sunday though, but I'm still seeing a Stoner repeat.

You know what would be cool though? If Colin took his Kiwi azz in the corkscrew on the final lap and held him off FTW! A pass like he put on Rossi a couple years ago would do juuuust fine.

As well as Elbowz, CEII, and Kantukee know that track, they should be able to do some damage to the field, as long as the two with French rubber can keep traction...
