Thinking R6 or 636

after i sell my bikes(hopefully selling my im going to get a newer model mid weight bike...im thinking R6 or 636

which has the most torque? and which year range would be best...im not looking to buy new

the zx636 was only made for 2006 and 2005 if I'm not mistaken, it has the most low end performance among all supersports in that year range. However, the new 2008 r6 is supposedly has the most horse power... so long has you keep it above 12000 rpms.

If you're concerned with torque numbers, you shouldn't rule out the RR. It handily won both 600 comparos in streetability I saw.

SPHINX is right, though. The newest R6 is supposed to be magical on the track IF you can ride it (keep her singin).

EDIT: I saw your "not looking to buy new" But an 07 could be had for a deal if you look in the right places.

Get a kwaker if that's your price range.
You should be able to get a clean 04-05 for what you're looking to spend.

hmm another thing would be that i wouldnt want a huge decrease in power from my cbr...even though its a 93 the thing is still pretty beastly

but the newer model 600s are pretty much overall better then my cbr right except for maybe top speed

The weight advantage of the newer 600ss bikes is better than your '93 model bike. You can be handily faster on the new 600.
