I don't think I'll shave my head- not yet, anyway. I'll try a better helmet first. I'm leaning toward the Scorpion... I'm on a budget after all.

Thanks for your input!

i have a hjc cl-sp that flows great. the wind noise is a bit much, but the helmet fits me good and flows well. best part was the low price. i got it from an ebay store for a whole $80 with shipping. it's a really nice helmet.

I think you are going to sweat nomatter the helmet. My Suomy breaths very well and I also get a lot of dirt that comes in so I close the vents when I go though the dirt.

If your on a budget get a scorpion. The finish isn't quite as good as Arai but very nice helmets none the less.

However in my opinion pretty girls should ride naked. then again it is only my humble opinion.

I have top of the line Aria and Suomy helmets. I think Suomy has better air flow, but it is MUCH louder than Aria.

Scorpian flows air really well, but not from the vents. The air comes in from under, near the neck and chin. Not a good helmet in the winter, but nice in the summer.

Scorpian helmets are produced by two ex-Arai engineers. The fit is going to remarkably close to the Arai helmets. Just cheaper and bells and whistles not there as you would get if paid for Arai. The Scorpian exo-1000 is probably the best contender to the big dogs, with the exo-700 coming in close... the exo-400 is low end and cheap.. but that is what I got and ride with... good luck..

each helmet fits each person diff. so there is no 1 best. you have to try all the diff. one's at speed.

also the cooler helmets also creat more noise cuz of windflow, so highly consider earplugs
