So I have no patience. it!

Alright...so this is gonna be my track bike....which means it aint about poser points. So...after 20 minutes of deliberation, I caught a case of the " its" and welded the .

Now I am worried that it sticks out too far. I need to get a bigger clamp to cover the weld. And I need a fabricate a bracket.

It does sound good. Not ridiculous load. More grunt, throaty.

I did use a coupler/reducer and the gasket. No leaks.

Possible. But I got to get this done tomorrow, and work. Gonna have to use some home depot stuff foe the weekend, then maybe I'll holler at you for a more permanent fix.

I told you to just run that chit straight pipe for the weekend. I don't want to run over your exhaust cuz it's ducktapped on!

Or you could try rubber bands. I hear they work real well.

by looking at the pics, you might wanna try stock rearsets from an R6r. it might just work cause it has a bracket to hold a clamp that bolts on to the can....it might fit...

i say you cut some more of the mid pipe to make it closer to the bike and use the muffler bracket with a small extension bolting it to the foot peg bolt.

Ace Hardware has 1" x wide alum strips in a couple of different thicknesses. I think the strips come in either 3' or 5' ong sections. Texluch and I have used them in the past to make various brackets.
