Good on u! My 60's sux for sure as most know I need practice too...

Miss-shifts? Are u wanting to do this manually or do u wanna go to electric or air shift?

Plus do you have a gp or standard shift?

Most fill more comfortable for some reason w foot under the shifter if you're in a wheelie but its hard to miss shift if ur stomping down on a shifter. Something to consider....

I'm really wanting to RIDE the bike, ya know. Yeah i can put all kinda chit on it 2 just wind up holding on at the end of the day, but I wanna RIDE IT for the most part myself. Right now i'm standard shift, but have explored both options of the gp shift AND a quick shifter+airshifter.

I doubt however that i'll make ANY changes of either sort, until i can consistently work that bike the way it is now, which should be between the 6.0s and 6.1s.

I basically wanna get the basics down 1st to the point where i'm doing em without thinking and THEN make adjustments as needed for faster times or an easier ride. I wanna challenge!

If u can spin the shift pivot then GP shift is done; that's something u could try on one pass and turn back around if u dont like it.

Ur welcome to the busa if u want a challenge but ur pulling better numbers then I now so i coordially bow to u.

Did u say ur going to the eighth Friday as well? I'll come see the magic first hand, maybe some pics/video for u if u smile for the camera

Dang, you aren't eff'n around, I didn't know you were rollin' with an extended s/a and all- I thought you were just rollin' stock bike and such.

Congrats on the times and working on consistency

BTW, GP shift is easy- 10mm & 12mm wrenches and about 1 minute of your time. If you don't like it after a couple of passes, take another minute to change it back

Even though we're talking about MY numbers that are only gonna get better and faster...thanks for the thread jack, i'm sure i can ALWAYS count on YOU for that geezzz some people can't give u credit for CHIT

Her name is "Nine Second Jen". Been racing for a few years now, if i'm not mistaken, and she hauls ASSSSS.. VERY GOOD rider, use 2 race with Farley from AJ Foyt. I'm sure that bike has had some GOOODDD engine work done, so it should be a monster!

I would only hope 2 get as fhast as her! She's laying some serious ground work for the chics outta Houston, gets MAD respect from me. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her, but she's awesome out there!
