Yuup, everybody is out to run you over anyway

I have noticed that when I'm obeying the law and riding the speed limit, that's when bad things happen.

but when I'm lane-splittin, weavin in and out and riding like a maniac, I feel safe. when I see dumb@** drivers on the road, I just get the hail away from them.

damned if you do and damned if you don't...seems like when you signal around here, people close up the gap so you can't get in. and when you don't, they get cause you cut them off.

and then there's the people that don't turn their signal off

man that last parts the worst, sometimes they leave it on so long you think they arent going somewhere then suddenly you start to pass someone who does that and they move over into you.

I got pulled over on July 5th in Alvin w a group riding to Galveston for using my hand signals w a turn signal. Said it was an unsafe lane change. then proceded to tell me he saw me use my hands and I didn't have turn signals. I turned them on and he just said, "well its a no tolerance weekend and the person behind you(out of five coming out of a stop light that was green for us) almost hit me(inknmyskyn.)"

I bang on hoods now until I get attention before I change lanes

Seriously, what do you expect? Parents can teach their own kids how to drive and by doing so show them all the mistakes they make themselves. The road test and written test are a joke and still people fail those and there's no real driver education. It's dirt cheap to get a license here ($23) vs. for example the cost for my license back in Germany (1500 Euro). But at least I got that, an education and a very thorough test, both written and road (45 minutes min.). So again, what are your expectations? And also how do you expect some soccer mom in her urban assault vehicle to turn on the signal when she's already busy slurping her super big gulp, yapping on her cell phone and smoking a cigarette? Ever seen somebody with four arms? Yeah, me neither.

Pi**es me off all the time when people don't use their blinker.

Just my 0.02 Euro

Mike
