KTM RFS motor is killing me!

All i want to do is ride but electrical gremlins are kicking my !!! Thanks to a very knowledgeable member of two wheeled texans(and thanks txsandman for putting me in touch with him) i believe i have finally tracked down the source of my problems. . . a faulty pulser coil. I'll be checking resistance on the part tonight to see if it's within spec while hot and cold. I've changed the coil, plugwire, plug cap, sparkplug, cleaned the contacts on the kill switch, checked and greased all electrical connections, and triple checked the valves with no luck. I haven't put 50 miles on this bike since i bought it, and only about 5 miles since Patrick installed fresh pilot powers over a month ago. All i want to do is ride Hopefully I'll get this sorted out and buttoned back up by the end of next week. After i get her running properly I'm going to beat the out of this bike for all of the headaches I've had. Thanks for letting me vent. Hopefully I'll be back soon

It starts with one or two kicks, runs like a beast, and then dies after about 15 minutes when it get's up to temperature. . . I'm willing to bet on the pulser coil. I'll have it torn down soon, and hopefully running properly by next weekend. I can't wait to get it sorted out, I'll be throwing on a full exhaust, jet kit, and graphics as soon as i get her going. I just can't justify modifying a bike that only runs for 5 miles at a time

the SM numbers sure seem to be growing around here I look forward to an all SM ride. It'll be nice to use this KTM for something more than a $4500 garage decoration
