does anyone know if i can register this bike to ride it on the streets again or rebuild the title...he used it as a track bike...so he saya...( a pair of lips will say anything)
It can be done but you will need a rebuild affidavite and a title application. You will also have to have the green sheet indicating that it has been inspected. Any dealership can inspect it and get you the green sheet.

Oh and also insurance...don't attempt to go to the tax office without all that.

What is the difference between salvaged/clear title?

When I totalled the Honda SF didn't salvage the title!

a salvaged title does two things: denote that the bike has been wrecked (forcing it to be inspected before being considered roadworthy) and alert insurance companies. A lot of insurance companies will only allow you to get liability on a salvaged vehicle because the risk that the repair wasn't perfect is too high.

Your honda probably DOES have a salvage title, and you just don't know it. SF likely alerted the DMV directly, and if the vehicle were ever to be sold, the new owners would get a salvage title.

In some states there's also a junk title, and these absolutely cannot be transferred or rebuilt.

Exactly^^^ my old ninja was a regular blue title with a rebuilt / salvage denotation near the lower , right hand corner.. Other than that it was just the same as a regular title.. And I had no problem getting full coverage...Progressive.

Don't think so! The adjuster said it wouldn't!

Anyhow, if I were to ever sell I would tell the other party it had been totalled!
