having spent a good bit of time there this was not stealing a bike. this was a triable thing and they were going to kill him that sort of thing happens all the time.

edit if it were stealing a bike or a car or truck they would have just beat him half to death and given him back to the cops.

my point exactly, we don't know the bike, the owner or the thief’s situation so this whole food for the family argument/justification is just plain silly. , the owner may be single and using his bike to get some ugandan poontang... all we do know is that a guy was lynched and burnt to death by a mob for allegedly stealing a bike which is a little extreme in my opinion..
