BLINKERS

OK I JUST BOUGHT A 2001 APRILIA MILLE, AND ITS A CLEAN BIKE RUNS GOOD AND ALL BUT I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT BLINKERS

I HAVE IT APART NOW FOR PAINT BUT I HOOKED THE BLINKERS UP AND IT HAS THE INTERGRATED REAR LIGHTS, WELL ALL THE LIGHTS FRONT AND BACK BLINK REALY SLOW AND DIM,

HEAD LIGHTS ARE NICE AND BRIGHTS

I ALSO GET A HUMMING SOUND COMEING FROM THE DASH ! THE FLASHER RELAY IS LOCATED UP THERE.

ANY WAY I WAS THINKING MAYBE THE RELAY IS GOING OUT, BUT DO THEY GO OUT OR WHAT
WORK OR DONT WORK OR KINDA WORK

I SEND PATRICK A PM JUST WAITING FOR A REPLY BUT MAYBE YOU ALL CAN HELP!

THANKS CHIP

be sure to check your blinker fluid....if it runs low, well you can have some problems....

Check around...the bottles of blinker fluid aren't that expensive.

LEDs?

You can jump the input power past the relay and see if the lights get brighter... the relay will allow it to blink but jus to check the brightness or for a poor connection in the relay jump the output.

Look on the side of the relay; it should have the schematic. 86/85 is the control, 30 is power in and 87 is output(with what I'm use to.)
