Odd....... then again anything is possible.

Back when I was getting my EMT Intermediate training I was riding as an ECA and we came upon a scene where a woman was D.O.A. from a kleenex box that was in her back window of her car, the force from her hitting her brakes at a high rate of speed to avoid collision with a Deer she ended up hitting anyways caused a Kleenex box that was in her back window to launch and the corner of the box severed her spinal cord at the base of her skull killing her instantly. Was an older model car with low back seats and no headrests, but still....... anything is possible. Stories of peoples heads being banged off of street signs in high speed collisions and a helmet saving them and stories of exhaust pipes terminating them, just be safe in whatever you do out there guys.

Sad story.

Isn't a Snell approved helment puncture resistant. IE nails and pipes.

He must of hit it just right.
