excellent choice dustin. exhaust was changed to meet US noise pollution standards if i remember right.

Ideally I suspect no manufacturer would incorporate such hideous exhaust into their bikes if they didn't have to. But in an increasingly warming planet the emissions regulations have become more strict, therefore, they need such exhaust systems in order to meet the emission standards and mass produce these bikes.
