I still appreciate the suzuki NUDA. looks more proffestional than the other heaps posted. simplicitly striking.

that is a sexy bike. along with the suzuki FALCORUSTYCO, which both bikes look better than the offerings from the first thread post..

I really like this concept.

This seems like a practical concept that could actually be translated to the real world.

Seeing that rear view , I realize very much lean angle and you would drag the wheel fairing and maybe lift the tire off the ground.

I'm not sure. but several possible ways to go about it, if a joystick was the case. I would like to see clean close up pics, sans rider. but there are a few ways to go about it

-FORCE sensing-

the joystick itself does not move. It is the force applied that is recognized. for better explanation. http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/x65f.htm

-personally I cant see above being practical. both due to rider fatigue, and road vibrations/jolts.

"Trigger" types.
. jet ski style
. gun style (with a pistol grip handle)

rudder pedal type (not sure of the definitive name for this) (thiswould be for steering, and not gas applications)
. like a pistol grip function ( pull on one grip, and the other retracts, and vice versa.

I dont have pics, but one thing I did years ago was hook up an old Saitek x-52 flight stick to the manual shifter on my hyundai tiburon. then rewired all the window operations, radio, and a few other settings to the buttons, all one the shifter. (and actually installed this to 2 other cars!)

so joysticks are quite doable for cars/bikes. you have to look around, but you will see a lot of the major players have looked at this at one point or another, or even had concepts, after ideas from other areas.

the two last bikes posted are quite nice. btw.

The Suzuki Nuda has always been my favorite concept bike. Too me it looks like where they got some of the looks for the Hayabusa.

The Honda EVO6 looks really cool and looks like it would be a working motorcycle.
